Cypress Jet, LLC ("Cypress Jet," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights available to you under applicable privacy laws, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA").

This Policy applies to information collected through cypressjet.com (the "Site") and through direct communications with our advisors by phone, email, or in person.

We collect the following categories of personal information when you interact with our Site or our team:

Contact Information

Name, phone number, and email address.

Trip and Travel Preferences

Departure and arrival locations, travel dates and times, passenger count, trip type (one-way or round-trip), cabin class preferences, and any notes or special requests you provide.

Membership Information

If you inquire about or enroll in a Cypress Jet Card, information related to your intended starting balance and membership preferences.

Communications

Any information you provide when you contact us by phone, email, or through a form, including the content of those communications.

Marketing Preferences

Whether you have opted in to receive newsletter or marketing communications from us.

We do not collect payment card information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive financial information through the Site. Any such information required to complete a booking or membership enrollment is collected directly by your advisor through a secure, separate process, not through the Site's forms.

How We Collect Information

We collect personal information when you:

  • Submit a quote request, information request, newsletter signup, or Jet Card enrollment form on the Site
  • Call, email, or otherwise communicate directly with a Cypress Jet advisor
  • Interact with us in person or in the course of arranging a flight

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors found us. Google Analytics relies on cookies that only activate after you provide consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Respond to your quote and information requests
  • Arrange charter flights and Jet Card memberships on your behalf, including coordinating with third-party aircraft operators
  • Communicate with you about your trips, your membership, and your account
  • Send you newsletter or marketing communications, but only if you have affirmatively opted in to receive them
  • Comply with applicable law, including aviation, tax, and safety recordkeeping requirements
  • Improve our services and the way we serve our clients

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

Third-Party Operators

To arrange a charter flight, we share the trip and passenger information necessary for a properly licensed, FAA-certificated aircraft operator to provide the flight.

Service Providers

We use Zoho Corporation ("Zoho") as our customer relationship management ("CRM") platform. Information submitted through our Site forms is transmitted directly to and stored within Zoho's CRM system on our behalf. Zoho acts as a data processor and is contractually and technically restricted from using your information for its own purposes.

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to understand how visitors use the Site. Google acts as a data processor for this information. Google Analytics only activates after you provide consent through the cookie banner described in Section 8 below.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cypress Jet, our clients, or others.

Business Transfers

If Cypress Jet is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain our business records, and comply with legal, tax, and aviation recordkeeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and no legal obligation requires us to retain it, we will do so within the timeframes required by applicable law.

7.1 Rights for EU/UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request erasure of your information ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your information
  • Receive your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, such as marketing emails
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

Our legal basis for processing your information is generally your consent (for marketing), the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you (for arranging travel), or our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business.

If your information is transferred outside the EEA or UK, for example to service providers located in the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect that information.

7.2 Rights for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — Cypress Jet does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information — Cypress Jet does not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring this right
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11 below. We will verify your request using the contact information you have provided to us and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7.3 Rights for All Users

Regardless of your location, you may always:

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in those emails
  • Contact us to ask what information we hold about you or to request its correction or deletion

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors found us. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.

These cookies do not activate automatically. On your first visit, you'll see a banner asking whether you'd like to allow analytics cookies. If you decline, or take no action, analytics cookies stay off and no analytics data is collected about your visit. If you accept, analytics cookies activate for that and future visits. The Site functions normally either way.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy accordingly.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
